On September 10, 2025 Charlie Kirk was assassinated. He was the founder and president of turning point USA, a grassroots conservative organization. He was a husband, father, and follower of Christ.
There were many reactions to the murder of Charlie Kirk. Some people celebrated, some people mourned, some people were silenced, and some people made calls to violence just to name a few. It's all of these responses that beg the question in me, how would Charlie Kirk want his supporters, loved ones, even the government, to respond to his murder? Would he want retaliation, an eye for an eye? Would he want to see the United States erupt into violence over his death, or would he want people to respond differently?
Unfortunately, we don't get to ask him how he would want us to move forward from his death. However, I believe he did leave instructions behind by the way he chose to live his life and in the teachings of his faith on how we can act in the wake of this turning point.
On today's episode of Revelizations I will be looking at the fallout from Charlie Kirk's death and ways for those who were his family, friends, and admirers to respond in a way that honors his legacy and hopefully brings down the cultural temperature. Thanks for listening everyone.
